ORIGINS

Sire: German champion at 5 and 6 years old in show jumping, Magic Cornflakes then started on the international circuit, placing up to 1.35m in CSI1*, CSIP/CSIOP. He notably won the Nations Cup at the CSIOP in Wierden under German saddle, then represented Great Britain – a nation, like Germany, for which he was pre-selected for the European Championships – and finally Ireland. From his limited production stand out Magic's Boy ST (vice-champion of Germany for 6-year-olds in show jumping) and Magics First Lady (10th in the German final for 6-year-olds in show jumping), placed respectively 3rd and 11th in the GP of the CSIOP in Chevenez (jump-offs), but also Major Chris CTE (winner in CSIYH1* 1.15m) and Magic Mike (show jumping, Kl. L and M). He is the sire of 3 stallions approved in Germany, including Million Reasons (Westphalian Champion / MS-Handorf in 2018). His dam, Cornflakes, 1.38m, has been placed up to CSIOP. She also gave birth to Ready for Cornflakes, 3rd in the German Show Jumping Final for 6-year-old ponies.

Mother: Hermina van de Vondelhoeve , daughter of Nabor SL (finalist of the European Show Jumping Championships and sire of 7 products who also participated in the European event), was put to breeding from a very young age. Among her products are Pjotr van de Groenheuvel (classified in CSIP 1.20/1.30m and CSI1*.), Rythmic van de Groenheuvel and Melodie van de Vondalhoeve, both jump-off riders in the Lrv national championship in Nieuwenrode in 2021 (Rythmic was placed 2nd in D Midden / 1.10m like Pjotr a few years earlier). She holds the PE label.

Second dam: Kantje's Madonna , daughter of the breed leader Priory Prickle and labeled Elite, produced the stallions Twinkling Starr Aristo exported to England (father of Dante , CSIOP), Gero van de Vondelhoeve and Calipso van de Vondelhoeve , the full brother of Hermina van de Vondelhoeve . Calipso is the father, among others, of the stallion Kadans van de Groenheuvel (CSO 1.25m in Belgium), whose offspring are distinguished in the three Olympic disciplines like Quatro van de Vondelhoeve (CSIP) and Interbrew de Rechri (European Dressage Championships in 2014). Kadans is also the damsire of the stallion Top Magic van de Groenheuvel SL and of Samba van de Groenheuvel , (winner in GP As Poney Elite Excellence CSO, IPO 156/21). The second dam of Kantje's Madonna is Silverlea Beech Leaf , at the origin of numerous international performers over several generations such as Mister Amontilano (European vice-champion individual and European champion by team in 2003, double European champion in 2004), the stallions Melle Jerom, Orchid's Balou, Kantje's Wilma III (dam of the stallion Kantje's Admiraal, CSIP)…

PERFORMANCES

Umbro van de Groenheuvel received his stallion approval from the BRP Stud Book in 2019. He began competing in Belgium at the age of 4, placing in 0.90m classes. He notably finished 2nd out of 15 in the Moervelden competition for "young large ponies" (outdoor, dressage and jumping).
He received a VERY GOOD mention in the final of the 6-year-old CCJP CSO. He finished 11th in the 7-year-old Future Elite. Today, he competes in CSIP, As Poney 1/Elite under the saddle of his owner Jeanne Chambon.
